Biking along Lake Ontario towards her quiet Toronto studio, Axelle can’t help but be moved by the ambience of water. Nature remains a core inspiration for everything she creates – her bespoke wedding stationery is a nod to the limitless shapes, textures, and tones of the natural world around us.
Pouring over 20 years of graphic design and branding experience into each invitation, it’s her ability to turn a couple’s vision into something tangible, that keeps her calendar and her creative-cup, very full.

Bonjour! I’m Axelle Compte. You may have seen some of my work published in Wedding Sparrow, Wedluxe, Carats And Cake or Wed Vibes (to name a few), or perhaps you traced the deckled edges of one of my designs as a wedding guest some time ago. However you have found yourself here, I love that you share in my passion for beautiful things that are created with time, authenticity and consideration.
I graduated as a designer in France 20 years ago and found myself inspired by work that I can create by hand. It simply wasn’t enough to design a brand or logo – I loved the tangibility and process of making paper, layering, and hand pressing a work of art. I only create wedding papers for a small number of clients each year, allowing myself the time to creatively immerse myself in your wedding vision and create truly bespoke wedding stationery.
